17 YEARS OF FAVORS FROM FAVRE!
Brett Favre retired today. Favre was an old fashioned gun-slinger of a quarterback. He is the only player to win the league MVP 3 times. Favre not only won it 3 times, he won it 3 years straight (95-97) and finished 2nd in 1994. He owns all the major records at his position, and is obviously a first ballot Hall of Famer. Favre battled the elements in Green Bay and was an iron man. Including playoffs, he played in 275 consecutive games, a record that may never be broken. Brett Favre will truly be missed on Sunday afternoons... what a career... what a football player.
